Church of Scientology Fined $9,200,000 in United States
In this video, LAWRENCE WOLLERSHEIM describes how he successfully won $9200000 in DAMAGES from the CO$ in a CIVIL LAW SUIT. It was a crushing and humiliating legal defeat for the Cult. HOW did the CO$ mistreat WOLLERSHEIM? 1. He was HELD CAPTIVE in the hold of a ship docked off California for 18 hours a day for a number of weeks (in what he called a "thought reform gulag"). 2. He was DENIED EMERGENCY MEDICAL TREATMENT. 3. He was COMPELLED TO ABANDON HIS WIFE AND FAMILY through the church's notorious policy of DISCONNECTION. 4. When he left the church, it subjected him to FINANCIAL RUIN through its policy of "Fair Game". During the trial, the CO$ tried to have Fair Game protected as "RELIGIOUS EXPRESSION"! It didn't work!
